Medorxoatl

Vandaag, bezoek van de beroemde anthropologisch museum van Mexico, op 3 metrostations van ons hotel. Tussen de fantastische standbeelden heb ik deze geseleteerd voor jullie: Bennyxoatl "hond die blaft met de donder" ;-).
Morgen, na een een kort bezoek naar "El templo Major" vliegen wij verder naar Oaxaca onze tweede verbijfplaats.

Teotihuacan

Teotihuacan is a huge archeological site from the Aztek culture. We visited it today with 8 other people coming from Mexico, Columbia, United States and France. A nice moment in a nice place with nice people.

Ciudad de Mexico.

Aujourd´hui bain de ville à Mexico City. Nous nous rendons en métro au Zócalo (place centrale) et nous passons la journée à arpenter les quartiers avoisinants. Nous savourons l'extraordinaire animation des rues et la beauté des batiments. Nous nous remettons rapidement des 7 heures de décalage horaire.

Groenland

Petit détour par le nord. Nous agrémentons la traversée de l'Atlantique par un survol du Groenland. Les taches blanches sont des nuages et les points blancs sont des icebergs (cliquer sur la photo pour l'agrandir).
Nous arrivons fatigués à Mexico apres avoir passé 24 h debout : 13 de vol et 11 heures d´attente dans les différents aéroports.

Mon Elise !

My lovely daughter Elise is back home after a fantastic stay in Spain. We have only today to enjoy being with her before Marina and I leave to Mexico in our turn. We will stay there for 3 weeks (Mexico City, Oaxaca and Huatulco).

I'll try to post regularly messages on this blog.

Back from Africa

My little sister will stay for 2 weeks in Belgium with her husband Abdou. Those who pretend we don't look like to each other are absolutly ... right.
Due to my travel to Mexico (we leave next weekend) I cannot enjoy her stay.

Holidays part 1

Our daughter and her boyfriend waiting for the flight to Spain. After having spend there 3 weeks, she will cross her fathers going to Mexico.
Elise & Jeff vertrekken drie weken naar Spaanje om daar een taalstage te volgen. Foto in de luchthaven van Charleroi.

Relique de l'époque coloniale, l'Institut Tropical à Anvers est le passage obligé avant tout voyage à l'étranger. Nous préparons ainsi notre expédition au Mexique. Départ le 12 août.

The last chicken flying off

The two chickens are now safe is the big tree where they are still being feeded by the parents. The last one flew off this afternoon. I was there to immortalize this historical moment.

Je récupère ma puce à l'aéroport, de retour d'un city trip à Vienne. Vous remarquerez l'atèle sur le genou et les béquilles sur le sac à dos.

Les petits grandissent à toute vitesse. Ils sont déjà très à l'étroit dans leur nid. Et pas farouches pour un rond avec ça.

Lyon

I spend for my job 4 days in Lyon (France), the town my fathers are coming from. Wonderfull town. I got the opportunity to meet my old friend Richard and we spent a nice evening at his place with his familly.

TGV

La France défile vite, très vite. 300 km/h entre Paris et Lyon. Je me laisse bercer par le ronronnement et le léger tanguage du TGV.

Pont

Gros bouchon sur l'autoroute ce matin. Je m'échappe par une petite route. Et là... mauvaise pioche ! Le pont s'ouvre devant mon nez pour laisser passer deux énormes péniches.

Je pars en voyage à Lyon cet après midi et pour 4 jours. Je vous ramène quelques photos.
