Nous sommes en congé pour une semaine. Pas de projet particulier si ce n'est de prendre du repos.

Verhuis

Veel dank aan Michael (links) en Felix (rechts) voor hun geweldige hulp tijdens mijn verhuis. Ik (midden) ben nu geinstalleerd bij mijn Klárike.

Cartons

Dès vendredi je déménage dans un nouvel appartement que je partagerai avec ma pétillante Klári. En attendant je cours entre l'aménagement du nouveau logis à Aartselaar et l'emballage de mes affaires à Hove.

Le dimanche, nous gravissons le mont Vojak. La montée de 1000m au travers des forêts méditerranéennes est un régale ! La vue au sommet (1400m) par cette journée exceptionnellement claire s'étend sur toute l'Istrie. Sur la route du retour, nous dominons le village de Mošćenička Draga.

Adriatic Sea

During one week holidays in Croatia (HV) I used a Canon D10 waterproof camera to catch the wonderful colours of the sea under the surface.

This golden sponge Aplysina aerophoba grows everywhere on the rocks.

From the slow train

Since two years I take the train to join my office in Brussels. I took this picture in the early morning in Mechelen, between Antwerp en Brussels.

Zeeland with the bicycle

We are back to The Netherlands this saterday, always in Zeeland (the the upper South county).
We explore this time the coast with the bicycle (42km). After our desapointment at the Belgian coast few month ago, we are here captivated by the wild beauty of the dunes and the huge beaches. The villages are very typical with there old little houses. Here on this picture the town haal of Veere. More pictures of this beautifull day here.

Journée sans pollen

Dimanche, nous passons toute la journée sur le Veerse Meer en Zélande (Sud des Pays-Bas). Notre ami Félix (à gauche) nous invite sur son petit voilier et nous parcourons au gré d'une petite brise cet ancien bras de l'Escaut. Le passage devant la vieille ville fortifiée de Veere est de toute beauté. Plus de photos.

Bike & boat

Arround Antwerp, many boats (like mini ferries) get you for free from one side to the other of the many rivers. This gives you the opportunity to make great tours along the Scheldt and Ruppel rivers.
38 km friday, 42 km saterday and 15 more sunday, I suffered a lot from hay fever but we really made the most of the beautifull weather .

Baby sitter

Deze politiemoeder had blijkbaar geen babysitter gevonden. Antwerpen, Koningin Astridplein.

Lors d'une promenade à Anvers, nous découvrons l'école Artesis où Elise étudie le français et le russe.

Mooi park op Engelse wijze, in Aartselaar, achter het kasteel Solhof.
